Repeat the same stroke in portrait and landscape. A gap that appears in the same physical area across several attempts is more meaningful than one interrupted stroke.
After a screen repair
Run both coverage and free draw, then manually check typing and edge gestures. A completed browser test does not certify the replacement screen or rule out intermittent touch.
