Browser-based testing
The current tests run in your browser. Test results are stored in local browser storage on the device you are using. TestingPhone.com does not currently require an account or synchronize those results between devices.
Camera previews
Camera permission is requested only after you start the Camera Test. Live camera video is displayed on your device for the preview and is not uploaded or saved by TestingPhone.com. The test does not automatically capture photographs or video.
Microphone recordings
Microphone permission is requested only after you choose to start recording. The short recording and its temporary playback URL remain in browser memory for the test and are not uploaded or placed in local storage. They are discarded when you delete the recording, replace it, or leave the test.
Touch and display tests
Free-draw strokes and touch positions are used temporarily to display the interaction on screen. The drawing, movement paths, and touch coordinates are not uploaded or stored. Only a minimal result that you select may be saved locally.
Internet Speed Test data
The Internet Speed Test transfers temporary generated binary data between your browser and a nearby TestingPhone.com Cloudflare edge. It does not upload your photos, files, contacts, recordings, or phone-inspection results. Generated upload bytes are counted and discarded rather than persisted, and speed measurements remain only in page memory.
Standard mode may transfer up to approximately 35–45 MB; Data Saver uses up to approximately 8–10 MB. Slower connections may use less. Hosting and security systems may still process normal network metadata, including IP address and user agent, as described below.
Permissions
Camera and microphone permissions are requested only when a test needs them and only after you take an action to begin. Your browser and operating system control whether those permissions are granted, denied, or later revoked.
Locally stored results
Saved inspection results remain in this browser on this device. Clearing site data, clearing browser storage, using some private-browsing modes, or uninstalling the browser may remove them. TestingPhone.com cannot restore locally deleted results.
Normal hosting information
Like other websites, the hosting and network providers used to deliver TestingPhone.com may process normal technical request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, timestamps, and security or delivery logs. This information may be needed to deliver the site, protect it, and maintain reliable service.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
TestingPhone.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page usage and browser performance. The Cloudflare analytics beacon does not use cookies or localStorage. We do not add custom event tracking or use it for advertising.
No certification sale
TestingPhone.com does not currently sell diagnostic results as manufacturer certification. Browser-based tests are functional inspections and cannot guarantee that a device is defect-free.
Your choices
You can deny or revoke browser permissions, delete temporary recordings, clear locally stored results through your browser, or stop using a test at any time.
