Ping and jitter
Ping estimates round-trip delay in milliseconds. Jitter describes how much that delay varies; a stable connection can matter as much as peak speed for calls, games, and live video.
For a useful comparison, repeat the test in the same place and under similar conditions. This measures the current browser connection—not the maximum ability of the phone, router, carrier, or internet plan.
